I agree with when it comes to the later images of the collection, the hangings and bathroom seem contrived and generic. But the earlier images especially the one with the taxi in the frame starts to build on a interesting narrative, plus aestheically its well done too.
Im not sure if it was an attempted to be shocking or not, i found it interesting because they are major clothing labels being used. My fascination with crime scenes from the older days is how good the quality of the images was, bc they tried to get as much of the scene in the photo while having good light to make it clear. I will try to find some images that aren to horrible and post them so you can see what i mean.
