Richardson has a decent eye for composition - but other than that he's a hack and a scumbag who gives Porn a bad name. The fashion illiterati use him to satisfy their dubious sexual interests - as well as indulge their fantasy that all it takes to shoot fashion is a point-n-shoot and a drunk girlfriend or boyfriend (or both - maybe with an animal thrown in for good measure).

The Terry Richardson witchhunt is fucking disgusting. I have been in this industry for 15 years and freelanced for a large number of top-level fashion photographers. Photographers hit on models regularly and use their power to put them in prestigious editorials and ad campaigns to their advantage. This is a system-wide phenomenon encouraged by greedy bookers at modeling agencies and ruthless parents who often let their 14-year old daughters go to photo shoots unsupervised. Terry is a little bit more visually explicit in his photography and is hence made the scapegoat. Why doesn't someone present reliable evidence that he did something inappropriate? Whatever happened to "Innocent until proven guilty"? Let's indict the modeling agencies who manipulate and abuse little girls into developing eating disorders and totally negelect their responsibility to supervise them and look out for their best interest and safety? If Richardson in fact expliots models, he is one of many and we shouldn't single him out but investigate the entire industry. Let's be fair and rely on facts rather than hearsay.

Tired of the Terry Richardson defenders. He doesn't have a good eye. He can't compose. His work is a visual waste of time on every level and cheapens the whole photography scene. He deserves about as much attention as Courtney Love, meaning 'none'.
